Joining the administrative services of the Grand Chancery of the Legion of Honor means going behind the scenes of a major institution dedicated to an original and intangible mission, the “administration of symbols”.
Our values
By virtue of its missions and status, the Grand Chancery occupies a special place within French public services.
Because its range of activity span the whole of French society, joining its ranks offers varied professional prospects and a privileged panoramic vision of France and its citizens.
Entering this sphere presupposes, in addition to professional qualities and commitment to confidentiality on certain subjects, a special sensitivity to the employer's historical, cultural, educational and institutional dimension.
The diversity of our missions calls for a wide range of skills: administrative managers, receptionists, cultural experts, human resources managers, IT specialists, teachers, educational officers, technicians, budget and financial managers, writers, communicators, etc.

Private-sector employees recruited under contract complete the workforce for specific positions, such as in IT and communications, or education assistants and housemistresses.
